River Report- 4/22/19

The midge hatch at Lees Ferry is going crazy!! The fishing has been getting better and better every day! You still see a lot of fish in the deep sections but the wading is getting good. midges, scuds and worms seem to be what is working the best. Experiment with color of midges. Don’t give up until you have tried a few colors as the Lees Ferry trout are VERY picky. Drift them long and keep your weight right and you will catch fish.
